Oumar BANE is a lawyer specialized in the field of banking law, financing law and security.
He has acquired a great deal of expertise in taking guarantees to support foreign investment operations, on the occasion of fundraisers, during project bankability studies and at the time of writing legal documentation.
He has already intervened and very often acts as an Advisor to many national and international structures and companies operating in the mining, energy, transport, hospitality, agriculture and construction sectors.
Also specialized in OHADA-type law, he carries out his professional activity mainly internationally, more precisely in the territories of the OHADA community space and beyond.

Private and a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in public law obtained at the University of Reims Champagne – Ardennes, France.
He has been registered with the Mali Bar for more than 20 years. He is a Partner in the Société Civile Professionnelle d’Avocats ATHENA LEGIS, also registered on the board of the Mali Bar Association.
Oumar BANE was a Member of the Council of the Order for the 2010-2013 financial year. Within the Société Civile Professionnelle d’Avocats ATHENA LEGIS of which he is a partner, he is in charge of the animation of the Banque & Finance Pole.
Oumar BANE is a Teaching Officer at the University of Bamako. He teaches in particular banking law, contract law and corporate law.
